WINE TASTINGS TO CRAFT FAIRS: UPCOMING EVENTS AT ST GREGORY’S, POTTERGATE IN MAY AND JUNE
St Gregory’s is a centre for arts, education and the community. Based in a former church on St Gregory’s Green on Pottergate, in the hub of Norwich Lanes, St Gregory’s is a charitable organisation putting on a range of events and concerts throughout the year.
Buy The Case Wine Tasting Evening Friday 16th May, 6pm
The first event is a Wine Tasting hosted by one of Norwich Lanes newest members, Buy The Case, based in Bridewell Alley.
The evening will give you the chance to taste some of the most fantastic wines from the four corners of the globe, including Tokaji (the wine mentioned in the Hungarian national anthem), Red Burgundy (from France), and several wines which are exclusive to Buy The Case.
Entrance including tastings is £10.00.

Open Studios - Still Lives & Installations 17th May – 1st June
Open Studios is a part of the annual Norfolk & Norwich Festival and invites artists from across the region to open their studios to the public.
St Gregory’s is hosting an exhibition called Still Lives and Installations and will be open daily between 11am and 6pm. Admission is free.
During the exhibition period, St Gregory’s is inviting the public to post comments on a blank wall in church revolving around the subject matter: “Supermarkets & Recycling”.
The comments posted will be archived and used to stimulate a public debate on this important topic.
Open Studios Gala Evening 24th May, 6.00pm - 10.00pm
An evening of celebration of the Open Studios exhibition.
The evening will include flamenco performers & guitarists, readings by Colin Self (an international artist based locally), piano recitals, food created by The Kitchen (St Benedict’s Street), and wine.

Church Fete as part of Norwich Lanes Summer Events 8th June
St Gregory’s will be holding its annual fete to coincide with the variety of celebrations within Norwich Lanes during the weekend of 6th – 8th June; including the St Benedict’s Street Fair and the Norwich Lanes Summer Event on Sunday 8th June.
Admission is free and the event will include arts displays, stalls and refreshments.
Applications are also welcomed from stall holders or performance artists willing to get involved.
The fete will also feature the launch of an “Alternative Chair Competition”.
Admission costs £5 and entries must be in by 6th September.

Request for Tables and Chairs
St Gregory’s is currently in need of stackable lightweight tables and chairs.
